Federation Of Freight Forwarders Association In India (FFFAI) is the National Member of FIATA representing India and recommends membership of Logistics Service Providers for FIATA membership.
Federation Internationale Des Associations De Transitaires et Assimiles, commonly also known as FIATA, the International Freight Forwarders Association held its General meeting on 30th June, on a virtual platform which was represented by FIATA Members from various countries, Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations in India, FFFAI has been representing India for over 50 years in FIATA.
At this General Meeting, FFFAI-nominated Mr. Tej Mayur Contractor was elected Chairman, Advisory Body Information Technology (ABIT) and Ms Nil Tunasar was elected as ABIT Deputy Chair.
FIATA sources said that both bring recognised expertise in the field of digitalisation and will further leverage the digitalisation of trade documents at FIATA.
Mr Tej is an Executive Committee member of FFFAI and President of Indian Institute of Freight Forwarding (a training arm of FFFAI).
